Australians are becoming increasingly worried about losing their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic second wave.

A new poll by Crosby Textor Group revealed that Victoria’s stage-four lockdown, and an increase in cases in NSW, Queensland and Australia, shows that half of the people surveyed believe the restrictions were lifted too early.

A poll was taken in July and almost half of the Australians polled were concerned about being made redundant, an increase from the 32 per cent in earlier July.

But it’s not complete doom and gloom. There are companies still looking for employees. LinkedIn, every week, publishes a list of companies looking for workers.

Companies like Goodstart Early Learning is hiring more than 480 roles across Australia, while GrainCorp is hiring for 3,000 casual roles and 45 permanent roles across Australia.
